Lil Luv Dog Launches Clean Beauty for Dogs
Pet beauty brand Lil Luv Dog debuts its liquid shampoo and leave-in conditioning mist at Selfridges, marking its UK entry.

Lil Luv Dog has launched its clean beauty products for dogs at Selfridges. This marks the brand's debut in the UK market.
The brand's new liquid shampoo and leave-in conditioning mist joined its existing grooming line earlier this month. The products form a complete wash routine. This launch is exclusive to Selfridges.
Founder Cara Santana-Leto stated the retailer was chosen as the first international partner. It aligned with a shared vision for beauty's future. British consumers have a deep emotional bond with their dogs. In fact, 94 percent consider them family. Younger owners are now spending at premium, human-level standards.
Selfridges felt like the ideal place to introduce Lil Luv Dog, Santana-Leto said. The store has credibility in redefining beauty categories. The goal is clear. It aims to establish pet beauty as a global category, not only bring an American brand abroad.

Brand Philosophy
Suganami explained the brand was born from a perceived disconnect. The beauty industry for humans had advanced. Offerings for dogs had not. The founders approach pet grooming through a beauty lens. They focus on formulation, fragrance, design, and sustainability.
the goal is to help establish a new category of beauty for dogs.
Target Audience and Strategy
The brand targets consumers intentional about their own skincare and home choices. This consideration now extends to their pets. The customer may be into beauty, fashion, or design. Or simply a devoted dog owner.
Suganami asserted you don't need to be a pet person to understand the brand. If you understand modern beauty and wellness, it should feel familiar.
In the US, Lil Luv Dog uses a mix of physical retail and e-commerce. Partners include prestige retailers like Goop, Violet Grey, and Revolve. It also appears in experiential retail environments such as Pop Up Groter. The brand intentionally avoids relying solely on traditional pet stores.
With the new wash products, its physical retail presence in the US should grow. There are no plans for a permanent standalone store yet. But the brand is very interested in physical experiences.
Dogs are inherently experiential. The brand is excited by pop-ups, takeovers, and beauty suites. These temporary concepts allow exploration. They help imagine what a permanent Lil Luv Dog physical world could look like.
The products are available at Selfridges' Oxford Street, Birmingham, and both Manchester stores. They are also available online.
