The Hypegolf Clubhouse brought a serious game-improvement setup to a SoHo space for three weeks. Powered by Uneekor technology, the event gave New York's golf community a place to meet, compete, and work on their games.

Golf courses and pro shops can feel exclusive. The latest Hypegolf Clubhouse took a different approach, uniting experienced players, newcomers, and various golf communities from across New York under one roof.

Community and Competition

Throughout its run, the Clubhouse hosted events with groups including Dual Sport, Swang, and Long Island Golf Junkies. Each group brought its own perspective and relationship with the game. This reflected the increasingly varied makeup of modern golf culture. Community was central. This year, however, the space also placed a greater emphasis on helping people get better.

The simulator bay at the back of the space made this focus apparent. It was powered by an Uneekor EYE MINI SIMKIT. This was not just an attraction. It provided a legitimate practice and performance environment. Golfers used it to understand their swing, dial in equipment, or play year-round.

The Uneekor Simulator Setup

The SIMKIT is a complete simulator setup built around an Uneekor launch monitor. The event featured the portable EYE MINI alongside a premium enclosure and impact screen. It also included hitting turf, a projector, and the necessary software. This turnkey setup transformed a compact downtown space into a fully equipped indoor golf studio.

The premium technology helped golfers better understand their game. Uneekor’s EYE MINI uses two high-speed cameras and Dimple Optix® technology. It captures the golf ball at impact, producing 19 ball and club data points. Specially marked balls are not required. Club Optix® adds real-time club tracking and visual impact replay. Golfers could see what happened at the moment of impact instead of relying solely on numbers.

This balance between accessibility and serious feedback suited the Clubhouse. A visitor could step in for a casual closest-to-the-pin challenge. A more experienced player could use the same technology to examine impact conditions.

Prizes and Practical Improvement

On opening night, community, competition, and game improvement overlapped. Guests competed in closest-to-the-pin and long-drive challenges on Uneekor’s 4K golf simulation software, GAMEDAY. One winner took home an Uneekor EYE MINI. This prize matched the experience. It was more than a symbolic takeaway. The winner left with the same portable launch-monitor technology featured in the Clubhouse simulator. They gained the foundation to recreate a similar practice environment at home.

That prize captured what made this year’s Clubhouse distinct. It remained a gathering place where different corners of golf culture could cross paths. It also treated improvement as part of that culture. The social side of golf brought people through the door. The Uneekor setup gave them another reason to stay and play.
