SKIMS Names Erin Magee Chief Design Officer
SKIMS names a 22-year Supreme veteran as its first Chief Design Officer, while Uniqlo U's founding designers exit after a decade.

SKIMS has appointed Erin Magee as its first-ever Chief Design Officer, following her 22-year tenure at Supreme. The brand also promoted Kim Schraub to the new role of Chief Brand Officer this week.
Founder Kim Kardashian praised Magee's ability to connect with audiences and push creative boundaries. Magee, who also founded the women's streetwear label Mademe, will now guide the creative product direction for the shapewear brand as it expands globally.
Uniqlo U Founders Depart After 10 Years
Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran have stepped down as the head designers of Uniqlo U. Their Fall/Winter 2026 collection was their final release for the Japanese retailer's sub-label.
The duo had led the line since 2015. Uniqlo U generated an estimated $1 billion in sales in 2025 alone. Uniqlo has confirmed the designers' departure but stated the sub-label will continue operations.
UGG & Willy Chavarria Debut Collaborative Capsule
UGG and designer Willy Chavarria have unveiled their first collaborative capsule collection. The unisex lineup blends Chavarria's aesthetic with UGG's signature footwear.
The collection includes five footwear styles, a co-branded t-shirt, and socks. It will be released globally on September 10, 2026.
A campaign titled "UGG & KISSES" launches the collection. It stars Eva Longoria, Danny Trejo, Becky G, and Ivan Cornejo. The campaign is inspired by the '90s sitcom Married… with Children and is viewed through Chavarria's Mexican-American lens.
Under Armour Taps Gunna for P-Star Line
Under Armour has officially named rapper Gunna as a Global Brand Ambassador and Creative Director of its new P-Star platform. The community-driven line includes footwear and apparel.
The debut collection consists of 14 pieces. It features heavyweight tees, shorts, and American football-inspired HeatGear, all marked with the P-Star logo.
The partnership also introduces the UA Scorpio sneaker, which uses UA HOVR cushioning. A hyper-limited "Gunna" colorway of the shoe drops on August 27, 2026. A wider global release is planned for early 2027.
In other brand news, Authentic Brands Group acquired a 51% majority stake in Drake's October's Very Own (OVO) brand. Drake retains a 44% share, while Vince Holding Corp. Holds 5% and will act as the core global apparel licensee. The OVO team will remain in charge of creative and design, but Vince will handle production and logistics. Three new U.S. Retail stores are planned for next year.
