SATISFY has opened its first permanent flagship store in Paris. The brand has created two mirroring spaces named 'Supply' and 'Fuel Station' on rue de Saintonge in the Marais neighbourhood, which open to the public on Friday, September 4.

The project was designed by Montreuil-based architecture and design studio ciguë in collaboration with SATISFY founder and creative director Brice Partouche. The intent was to create a gateway into the brand's world of trail running, music, film, and the outdoors, rather than a conventional running store. Partouche described the spaces as the most complete expression of SATISFY ever created.

"SATISFY has always been an analog brand, so a physical space became the purest way to express it," said Partouche. "Photography became murals and oil paintings. Products became artifacts."

The Supply Space

The Supply space, located at 47 rue de Saintonge, carries the brand's full apparel and footwear range. Its interior is anchored by a large three-part oil painting by New York artist Othelo Gervacio. The design retains the building's original shell, with imperfect walls under a soft grey wash and exposed piping. Materials like Douglas fir, wool felt, and custom cast-zamak pieces contrast with concrete, wire mesh, and stainless steel.

Artifacts curated by Partouche, including rare punk records, vintage magazines, and jewellery, are placed throughout. A bespoke lounge chair by Parisian furniture-maker Jean-Baptiste Durand sits beside a second-hand car subwoofer. A custom scent was developed with perfume studio ROOM1015 for the space.

The Fuel Station Space

Directly opposite at 54 rue de Saintonge is the Fuel Station. This space focuses on hydration and nutrition, drawing inspiration from convenience stores, hardware shops, and grab-and-go cafés. It features flexible steel shelving, cardboard boxes, and wire-mesh displays. Water and electrolytes are available on tap for flasks and speed cups.

A seaweed-based gel is produced in the room, and mushrooms are grown on site. The design encourages visitors to cross the street between the two locations as part of the experience, with each space visible from the other's window.

Store Details and Philosophy

The two spaces face each other across the street. Their opening marks the first physical retail embodiment of the brand after eleven years. The design studio ciguë treated the project as a holistic expression of the SATISFY ethos, emphasizing analogue and tactile experiences over digital ones.

The store interiors blend raw, industrial elements with curated artistic and functional objects. This approach turns products into displayed artifacts and graphic imagery into physical paintings. The flagship aims to be a destination that justifies an in-person visit in an increasingly screen-dominated world.

SATISFY's inaugural flagship is now open in Paris.
