The Cadillac V-One concept has been unveiled at Monterey Car Week, specifically at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering. This track-only hypercar concept is directly related to the brand's championship-winning V-Series.R Le Mans prototype. It utilizes the same Dallara carbon fiber monocoque and pushrod-actuated suspension as the competition model.

Design and Features

The V-One concept features a silver-to-navy endurance paint gradient, which was meticulously hand-sprayed. This distinct visual treatment symbolizes the transition from day to night during a traditional 24-hour endurance race. The exterior also boasts an illuminated physical Cadillac emblem, updated dark-persona badging, and a new V-Series wheel design.

The single-seater maintains the dramatic aerodynamic proportions of the prototype, while introducing premium bespoke finishes that align with the brand's luxury identity. Inside the exposed carbon fiber cockpit, pure prototype racing hardware merges with elevated passenger luxury. The driver-focused cabin is outfitted with specialized recycled fabrics, a serialized door plaque, and a driver's seat molded to exact customer physical specifications.

Performance and Production

The naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V-8 hybrid powertrain produces a staggering 830 combined horsepower, significantly surpassing the 670-horsepower limit imposed on the race car. Cadillac aims for lap times within ten percent of the professional racing counterpart, while tuning the dynamics to be highly accessible for non-professional drivers.

Cadillac leadership is openly testing the waters for a limited customer production run. If realized, the V-One would thrust the American luxury brand into an elite echelon of the automotive market, challenging low-volume track programs from established competitors. Partnering with a dedicated chassis constructor ensures the manufacturing capacity already exists, paving the way for these untethered prototypes to reach private garages.

Market Competition

The V-One concept targets elite programs from Ferrari and Aston Martin, with its impressive performance and luxury features. The following table compares some key features of the V-One concept with its potential competitors:

While the exact production run and pricing of the V-One concept are still unknown, its unveiling has certainly disrupted the automotive scene at Monterey Car Week. As Cadillac evaluates a limited run for private collectors, the brand is poised to challenge the European hypercar houses and establish itself as a major player in the elite automotive market.
